About Ortho-Body Balance:

Marie’s professional aspiration is to offer Clients self-empowerment & discovery to support and cultivate a personal spirit-mind connection that honors personal wisdom and  guidance. Her commitment to both her practice and teaching is a testament to her continued  private and professional quest for whole body balance. (M.L.) 

For the past forty years Marie has been committed and continues to be a support to individual health related concerns. She has worked in Vernon BC since 2004 at Vital Path Health Center after relocating from Edmonton AB, where she worked as a RMT at Primrose Medical Clinic and at the NRG Services where the main focus was on the Motor vehicle accidents. Marie has continued her studies of different therapeutic approaches during her career that are benefiting both her and her clients in maintaining a relaxed and comfortable body balance.

Sessions:

A session can last a 1/2 hour to 1 hour or longer depending on the clients needs and wishes. The treatment takes place on a massage table. Wearing comfortable loose-fitting clothing is recommended. After the consultation Marie will discuss the approach that would be most comfortable, beneficial     and that resonates with the client’s needs. Home exercises may be suggested to further aid healing and reduce discomfort.

•Acute disorder :( communicable disease) • Acute illness with fever; 
• Acute poisoning: ( snake, insect poison) • Acute inflammation: ( peritonitis, appendicitis) 
• Aneurysm, Arteriosclerosis • Bleeding disease:( bloody vomit; hemorrhage) 
• Dental emergencies • Internal bleeding or blood clots; • Miscarriage, risk pregnancy; • Serious internal organ disease; 
• Serious psychological disorders. • Tuberculosis: (pulmonary tuberculosis) 
• Trauma: ( wounds, broken bones,) • Ulcer:(eg. gastric ulcer, duodenal ulcer) • When under the influence of alcohol or drugs
